A few words about me:
As you can see, I am an artist enamored with wildlife and the natural world in general. Early on in life, I developed an affinity for art,
devoting time to drawing whenever possible.  Since then, I had honed this gift from the Lord and in 1990 I met with Robert Bateman at
Mill Pond Press. As most wildlife artist will tell you, he is the "modern day" pioneer of wildlife art .  I was thrilled to  meet with him. In his
review of my work,  he had many positive things to say about my drawings. He told me however, " if I wanted to make it in this field, I
needed to start painting". Those words from an artist whom I truly admire were the catalyst for my paintings. I met with him again in
1992 and he introduced my to another artist by the name of Terry Isaac. They both critiqued my work and again had very good things to
say. Terry mentioned that one of the paintings (Red Winged Blackbirds)  would be a very good contender for the "Birds in Art"
competition (a prestigious art show). In the years that followed, I went on to study with John Seerey-Lester, Terry Isaac, Daniel Smith and
Carl Brenders.  The great compliments I received from Carl Brenders  (whom I highly regard) was to this point, one of the several
highlights of my artistic career.
